What a joy it is to welcome the Fuller Family Reunion back home to Jackson, Tennessee!
After more than 30 years of gathering every other year in cities across the country—from Grand Rapids to Chicago, Atlanta, Washington, D.C. to Dallas and Houston—the Fuller family has returned to its roots.
Descendants of Edna Comer’s two children, now deceased, include her six grandchildren, four still living today, have built a beautiful legacy of family unity and celebration.
This year's reunion is a warm, multigenerational embrace of that legacy, with Ms. Pauline Moore Long—the eldest descendant—surrounded by nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and cousins from near and far.
The celebration began Thursday evening with a heartfelt meet and greet, setting the tone for a weekend filled with laughter, stories, and shared memories.
On Friday morning, the family gathered for breakfast before heading downtown for a colorful and creative painting party at Crystal’s Zen and Juice, a partner of The Soul Collective, inside Jackson’s Historic Train Station and Entrepreneurial Hub.
Brushes in hand and T-shirts on, the Fuller cousins and kin painted side by side,
swapped family stories, and enjoyed lunch and snacks in a relaxed, joyful setting.
Later, they headed out to explore the Tina Turner Museum, continuing their time together with a dinner, Friday night, at Richie’s American Kitchen and Grill.
As the weekend continues, the family looks forward to morning and afternoon activities and a formal banquet event on Saturday evening—a time to dress up, celebrate their heritage, and reflect on the strength of the ties that bind them.
Special thanks to Pat Ross, daughter of Ms. Pauline Moore Long, for helping connect the dots of this inspiring family history. It was a pleasure to meet the Fullers, see the smiles on so many faces, and witness their pride in carrying forward the reunion tradition. We’re honored they chose to celebrate in Jackson once again—where their story began.
